June Festivals on Long Island

Here on Long Island, there is never a shortage of fun. Not only are we right next door to New York City, but the island itself always has plenty to do. Here are some excellent June events on Long Island to add to your calendar.

  • Massapequa Chamber of Commerce Street Fair. This annual event will be held on Sunday, June 5th from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. This fun-filled event is celebrating its 67th year. There will be lots of food, live music, rides, and so much more.
  • Long Island Bavarian Festival. On June 11th and 12th, it’s time to celebrate all things German at the 42nd annual Long Island Bavarian Festival. It will be held in Franklin Square and will feature live German music, German food, German brews, and fun and games for the whole family.
  • Mattituck Lions Club Strawberry Festival. Head to Mattituck June 16th through the 19th to try all things strawberry. This fun-filled family event has plenty to eat, live music, and local crafts.
  • Pirate Festival. If you love all things piratey, this is the festival for you. Visit the Long Island Maritime Museum June 18th and 19th for this annual festival.
