Long Island Fall Festivals to Celebrate the Season

There are plenty of Long Island fall festivals that inspire guests to enjoy the spirit of the fall season. Here are a few must-see festivals in the area.

Long Island Fall Festivals are fun for the whole family!

Southampton’s Harvest Fair

Rogers Mansion presents a historic fall experience at the Southampton Historical Museum, showcasing 19th-century village life along with a bake sale, hands-on interactive exhibits, and a consignment shop. The fair takes place on Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Long Island Fall Festival

Partake in festivities galore at Huntington’s Long Island Fall festival from Oct. 6-9. Hours depend on the day. A carnival with live entertainment along with international food courts provide a fall festival experience you won’t forget.

Islip Fall Festival

A pumpkin patch, roasted corn, craft vendors, and even a pie eating contest all await you at this event, which takes place on Main Street on Oct. 28 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Harvest Festival

You can find this festival at Port Jefferson, open from noon until 5 p.m. on Oct. 29. Chowder, scarecrows, marshmallow roasting, and other fall-themed goodies will be available for guests to enjoy.

2017 Stony Brook Autumn Art and Craft Festival

On Nov. 11-12 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Stony Brook University, this annual festival shows off artisanal and hand-crafted goods, from pottery to jewelry to leather work and more.
